SPECTS 2009 is over! See you at SPECTS 2010!
Summer ISMC 2009 Attendee Registration Form available!
Request Form (Hotel Reservation, Transfers and Social Evening) also available!
This annual international conference is a forum for professionals involved in performance evaluation of computer and telecommunication systems. Performance evaluation of computer systems and networks has progressed rapidly in the past decade and has begun to approach maturity. Significant progress has been made in analytic modeling, simulation, and measurement approaches for performance evaluation of computer and telecommunication systems.

Call for Papers
You can download a PDF version of the Call for Papers (67 KB)
Paper Submission
Please submit your complete papers electronically to http://www.softconf.com/scs/SPECTS09/submit.html Instructions for authors will be posted on the paper submission website. Submissions should not exceed 8 two-column, 8.5x11 inch pages (including figures, tables, and references) in 10 point fonts. Please include 5-10 keywords, complete postal and e-mail address, and fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author. If you have difficulties with electronic submission, please contact Technical Program Co-Chairs or the Local Arrangement Chair.
Camera-Ready Submission
The SPECTS 2009 papers will be electronically published by IEEE Xplore. This means that accepted papers must exactly fulfil the IEEE requirements regarding the final submitted version. The maximum length is 8 pages. Extra pages will be charged extra fees.
Please follow strictly the following 3 steps:
- Modify your paper according the reviewers comments and generate the Camera-Ready version of your paper using one of these NEW templates (please use A4 paper size templates, no page numbers, no headers, no footers)
- Generate a PDF version of your Camera-Ready paper form step 1 and validate it using the PDF eXpress tool. (You can also use PDF eXpress tool to generate the PDF version). Follow the instructions:
- Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at www.pdf-express.org
- Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information.
- You will need the Conference ID which is: spects09x
-
Submit the Camera-Ready version (PDF generated in step 2) before JUNE 6, 2009 (the date that appears in the PDF eXpress tool is not correct).
To upload your final manuscript, please go back to the submission site: http://www.softconf.com/scs/SPECTS09/ and, on the left-hand side of the page, enter the passcode associated with your submission (received by each author by e-mail).
NOTE that an additional condition for the inclusion of a paper in the conference is the registration of at least one of the authors (information about registration available soon) and the submission of the copyright form (submission by fax is preferred). You can send the signed copyright form to an alternate SCS fax number: (858) 633-1559 or send it by e-mail to scs@scs.org or djweed@scs.org
