About the Conference 🔗

The 2017 International Conference on Computer, Information, and Telecommunication Systems, CITS 2017, is an international forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latest research and development results in all areas of Computer, Information, and Telecommunication Systems, CITS.

The conference will feature tutorials, technical paper presentations, and distinguished keynote speeches. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

Selected extended versions of accepted papers will be considered for Special Issues of Scholarly International Journals (indexed by SCI/EI).

Papers should be written in English with a maximum paper length of 5 printed pages (10-point font, A4 size paper) including figures. For your submission you can use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at:

The copyright transfer will be done by means of IEEE eCF. Please, follow instructions given in the detailed final paper preparation and submission instructions available for authors.

All attendees at CITS 2017 should make the registration. One author per paper (up to 5 pages) MUST be accompanied by one mandatory registration and the registration fee must be paid by June 16th, 2017. Each extra page will be charged at a rate of €100.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Author Refunds: Authors who have registered their accepted paper are not eligible for refund if decided to withdraw their paper
  • 50% Refunds: Non-authors Refund requests received before June 21, 2017
  • No Refunds: Non-authors Refund requests received after June 21, 2017 will not be eligible for a refund

How to register for CITS 2017

  1. Go to the CITS 2017 Registration at EDAS (sign in or, if you do not have an EDAS account, sign up)
    • Members of IEEE and SCS must keep updated their society memberships in EDAS (check the "update your society memberships" link) in order to register with reduced charges
    • Please specify your dietary constraints or special needs in "My Profile"
  2. Click 'Icon' of Payment by Credit Cards or Bank Wire
  3. Payment by Credit Cards
    • Enter necessary card details as well as other details (e.g. VAT numbers, affiliation address) for your invoice; then click the button of 'PAY'
  4. Payment by Bank Wire
    • CITS 2017 only use the currency of EURO for registration and paper (overlength) fees so please only apply the branch of the EDAS German bank account shown if/when you pay by bank wire.
    • While wire transfer, (1) exchange your currency to EURO first and (2) please pay the bank fees by the sender (you) (e.g. ‘wire transfer administrative fees’ etc.) to make sure the final amount of the registration fees received by the Beneficiary is [€590/€690]. Otherwise you have to transfer the difference again to make it up.
    • Wire transfers must include the name of the conference (CITS 2017) and the invoice number (xxxxxx) in the Originating Beneficiary Information (OBI) e.g. “CITS 2017, Invoice #xxxxxx”. Get the Invoice number from EDAS after Registration (though not paid yet). All necessary details will be shown when you sign up to pay by wire transfer in EDAS.
    • For wire transfer, after you upload your wire receipt to EDAS, it takes a few days for EDAS staff to update your payment status from 'unpaid' to 'paid'. If any problem occurs in EDAS, please click 'Request help' (on the bottom line of the page). The EDAS Help team is very supportive.
